Chula’s most savage attacks on Frown are all edited out. 90% of my comments to Chula have been either tough love or sincere well-intentioned advice he really needs. 5% good natured ribbing. 5% bad natured ribbing.

Because he likes to win (not starve)

Meh, he kind of fudges it though. I agree he's a good guy, but look at this quote:

"I just think being from where we're from, we're placed in a very difficult position. I feel Northern Irish and obviously being from Northern Ireland you have a connection to Ireland and a connection to the UK. If I could and there was a Northern Irish team I'd play for Northern Ireland. Play for one side or the other – or not play at all because I may upset too many people… Those are my three options I'm considering very carefully", before choosing Ireland in 2014.

Hardly conclusive, is it? Still, we'll all claim him when he's a winner, won't we?

Well he doesn't like talking about it in general and I don't blame him given how sensitive it all is. He doesn't seem like someone overly attached to any identity and is happy to represent all three and for Irish and British to claim him.

He's just gone a shot up, two behind now.

Since we're discussing it I was going to bump your Irish thread to post this recently, but have you heard of that Anne Marie Waters? Now to me that is surprising.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Marie_Waters

Have you ever known anyone from the ROI like this?

Never. They must have banned her from the pubs.
Seriously though, my other sister's married name is Waters. I sure hope there's no connection, though I doubt it.
