Yep, congrats on the job, Chiomara! For most of us, even a grim job is a big help for our financial independence and self-esteem.

One way old guys can strain the patience of youngsters is by blah blah blahing about their experience. Hence the spoiler:-

Spoiler for Jobs I've done:
Including part-time/vacation jobs, I've been lucky enough to be pretty well continuously employed ever since I had a newspaper-delivery round at the age of 11. My illustrious job history:-

paperboy, shop assistant, busboy/dishwasher, petrol pump attendant, animal maintenance technician (= feed and clean up after animals in science lab), porter in department store, truck driver's mate, draughtsman, architectural consultant, carpark attendant, teacher.

I do. I don't know if you know this, but UPS employees get treated pretty well.

Do you wear the little shorts?

Key 04-11-2018 08:24 AM

No. I'm not a driver. I do see drivers all the time though.

Lisnaholic 04-11-2018 08:47 AM

Now I understand why you chose that av. I'm assuming manual drafting (draughting)?
