I repeat, it's not my fault my home value increased. I'm grateful. But I did bust my ass to get to the point where I could uproot my family from a **** hole area back east to a place of better opportunity. You gonna crap on me for that too?

You never upgraded any part of it? Replaced a doorknob? Added a plant to your yard? Changed your flooring?

If you had your home reappraised so that you could put it on the market for more than you bought it for, then you are literally responsible for your home's value increasing unless someone else paid for the appraisal.

Chula, it's probably easier just to try to lay back and not get into discussions with people that increase your negative outlook. Sometimes you have to step back, rethink, and come back. While I can tell people are riding your ass, I don't think youre on the innocent side.
