This is what long term exposure to Dad Jokes will do to you, kids. Not saying it's a bad thing, just... that's what it'll do. To you.

I had to hone my craft when I thought TH was going to leave.

Literally every time someone at work says "I'm hungry"... well, you know. There's even one specific person who says it constantly and who never prepares for when I respond, but who seems to appreciate the joke despite herself every single time. Possible marriage material.

That'd get really annoying hearing someone say "It" all the time.

I assume you're referring to my escape craft?

You know, if it wasn't America, where a very large percentage of the population appear to believe that everything outside of their continent is marked on a map as "Terra Incognita", a good response to that would be "Pleased to meet you. I'm Bulgaria!" Or, whatever Baltic country you want to throw in there. Romania works too.

But so few would get it.

Right up there with:

Daughter: "I'm thirsty"
Dad: "I'm Friday!"

The dehydration was a bit of a concern, but the joke was solid.

Robinson Crusoe certainly laughed anyway.

I don't think that I have ever once had to deal with the DMV without my first visit being a complete and utter waste of time. **** underappreciated, bottom level bureaucrats.
