I know I’m just thinking code enforcement in S Cal ain’t going for this.

https://up.codes/viewer/california/c...bing-code-2016 Too much reading for me right now though. It was just an idea off the top of my head. The cost effectiveness of making it all work would depend on a few variables that are unknowns, but having a look into it may turn up something.

1. I'm not going to call her any names but Lin really threw your to the wind Chules. That sh*t ain't right. I don't care how "unhappy" she was. You're a person and it doesn't seem like she cares.
2. Move the f*ck out of S'Cal. You can get a two bedroom apartment in the south east/west for pennies. |

Brief aside as my day was just made - A dear and generous friend just rang me up and asked if she could gift me a collection of antique vintage still and motion cameras! What a thoughtful surprise!

https://up.codes/viewer/california/c...osal-systems#H Used 'Grade A' Container: $1400 Sono Tube Pier Const: ($600x4) $2400 (depending on seismic requirements) 750 gal. Septic tank: $750 Installation: This is an unknown variable, but probably around $4000 for site prep, transportation of the container, and equipment to install the septic and piers. These are very general figures also, and not including any other code requirements and provisions for water/elec, which may be required by code. $8500 in this conceptual scenario isn't that bad, but there's way too many other things to consider. It was also mentioned to me to add 10%, since it's Cal.

Superglue a dollhouse to a concrete block. Boom, permanent structure.

I'm staying in SoCal for two very important reasons. My kids. Never know when Mike may have a relapse and I'm going to be a granddad and want to be there for that and to help as much as possible. THE GOOD NEWS Native American Indian Reservations are exempt from lots of state and federal laws! About 15 miles west from here in Alpine is the Viejas reservation. There's two RV parks owned by the same company on the land. One is permanent - was told that a few people have been living there for decades. They don't have an opening right now but they pop up all the time - it's less than a mile from the Viejas casino so whenever there's construction the workers often stay at the park. When the work is done they all split at once. I'm on the waiting list. The other park is right across the street. It's not permanent yet. They've petitioned the government and expect to win the case. I've got a 3 month reservation after I leave this place on the 18th. It's $600 a month with everything included. That's about $1,200 less than the house was and cheaper than any apartment I could find around here. Mike's paying $800 a month just for a room! In hindsight this place is a bit too far out in the sticks. The local store is about 3 miles away and they up charge like crazy. Gas is $4.20 a gallon for regular! Alpine is small but at least has chain type stores (Albertsons, CVS, Ace Hardware, etc.) lot's of places to eat and gas is only $3.15. So instead of a 15 mile drive to get supplies now I only have to drive 1. TL;DR Chula's not going to be living in a Walmart parking lot.
