No, culture vultures are ones that prefer to go to the opera rather than hang out in deserts.

I personally prefer Vulture Culture myself.

**** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ****.

Well Chula V2.01 didn't quite turn out to be the Nirvana I was hoping for (or led to believe - I am going to hunt down and skin alive the ****ing Thousand Trails salesman who completely misrepresented how this **** works). I'm partially to blame for not doing enough due diligence. To say I've been under a shotgun to try and make all of this work is an understatement. The past 4-6 weeks have been a Category 5 hurricane. I still love Linny but she really dumped it all on me by running away to Tucson. Water under the bridge.

YES, you can buy an annual membership. YES, it's only about $5-6 K. YES, you end up only having an annual maintenance fee of about $500.

BUT, and this is a pretty big ****ing BUT: By the current Federal, State, and local county laws, I'm only allowed to actually live in my RV for 210 days a year (7 months). I can keep my rig here for the other 5 months, but I can't "live" in it by law. Seems the Fed and State govs are not cool with the recent drove of folks opting to go off the mainstream grid and live in RVs or Tiny Homes.

See, they want you channeled into the system where you have to pay property taxes, etc. If you are down on your luck and can't afford a home or apt. they'd rather you homeless than skirting "their" system by going other, more affordable routes.

And on top of that, the place I'm currently at doesn't even have an annual membership for me to buy. Each campground is given only a small percentage of sites that they can label "annual". I just spent the last two days busting my ****ing ass (seems to be a theme lately) making my RV into a home only to find out I have to leave this place in 12 days! (Had to book a 2 week stay as a newbie before I could look at upgrading my membership to annual)

I'm utterly fried so Chapter II will come tomorrow.

Is life ever going to stop dumping on me?

Which laws? Can't find anything in a cursory Google search and I've known people who have lived in an RV since 2013 or so 365 days a year at a local RV park. Or is this something that applies to the specific site that you're at and can be fixed by going to park that has appropriate licensing or whatever?

Yeah. When you said it was Oakzanita Springs I figured. With the price you stated I was like thinking nah. They have their deals down here, too. It’s like 12 days on 7 days off or 4 days and on to the next park in their system. Subject to space. What you were describing was ****ing utopia. ****, with access to water and electricity I would pay what you were talking about just for a tent space. If I could stay there indefinitely that would be fantastic. Those parks have toilets and showers.

Have you considered maybe trying to be a site host somewhere?

Like an RV Park or a trailer park?

Because “campsites” are ****ing expensive. 25-50 bones a night. And I’ve never heard of just being able to stay there forever.

Needing some actual advice from the dudes and maybe Chio since she's got experience in the industry:

The 4yo I nanny had a big meltdown tantrum today, which happens almost daily with his parents, but has only happened a few times with me. He does get aggressive - kicking, scratching, etc., but while his parents put up with it (and in many ways enable it) I do not. So today after he had done his damage to me I told him I wasn't going to let him hurt my body, so he screams at me "if I can't do it to you I'll do it to myself!" He then drops trou, pulls out his baby penis, and just goes to down on it, pinching and scratching and pulling on it violently.

So like, anyone have experience with this? Did any of you abuse your little knob mid-tantrum as a kid, or have a kid that did so? I'm totally at a loss, but it's worth mentioning that I 100% do not suspect any abuse in the household.

There might be some trailers there but as far as I know it's all RVs.

Call social services. Then call his parents and tell them why you called social services.

Do the people own the lots?

I know someone who bought a spot in Alabama. Nice view of a lake. He had to pay his water, electric, garbage, and maintenance fees like condo fees. The spot cost like 30g. I think they call them “slips” like boat slips. You have to pay whatever the property tax is, as well.
