Technically, no. I'll pay a one-time life membership of about $5K and then an annual maintenance fee of about $500.

These are the monthly bills I'm eliminating by making this move:

Mortgage: $1,360
Association fee: $280
Mello Roos: $80
Linda's insurance: $400
Linda's cell: $100
Land line, cable, internet: $200
Gas, water, electric: $250
Credit cards (2): $200

That's a savings of almost $720 a week! This divorce is a God send at this stage of my life!

Linda and I talk at least every other day and I've been keeping her up on things. She's jealous! Next time she heads to San Diego she's going to plan on hanging out at the new place for a couple of days to see if it's something she may want to do too. She wants to get back here badly because of the upcoming baby but is finding (just like me) that it's just too damn expensive to buy or rent.

How crazy would it be if we end up being RV neighbors? :D

That is an incredibly good deal.

There’s no catch?

I’m doing nothing but stewing over how much I hate Florida.

Nope. I did make a mistake. The $5 grand gets me 10 years. That comes out to less than $42 a month for "rent".

Is it Thousand Trails?

Wow, the fucking Shape Of Water. Honestly truly didn't see it coming. Nice to see horror/fantasy genre films win such big honors, but Three Billboards was snubbed so fucking hard in that category. Or even Call Me By Your Name. Disappointed.

Gerald's Game should have won best picture.

Yes. It's tense as **** and very well-made. Couple of flubby plot bits, but that's only because the director stayed true to the novel.
