Terrible weekend. Drinking heavily + grief really does not mix. His birthday would have been on the 13th, just three days before mine. :( Not doing well.

Hang in there, Chio.

This guy heckled her between songs, regarding his "approval" of her appearance. It was not wanted nor welcomed. Needless to say she finished her song and left the stage, visibly upset. This one guy ruined her night and a great show.
:D good stuff

Nobody can tell you what to do or not to do but I advise against heavy drinking while grieving. Like you already said.

Take care.

First day off with little to no responsibilities in three and a half weeks. Even did the bulk of my job applications yesterday and last night, too, trying to get a better job. Walked 30 minutes up to the library. Keyboard player's at home, wanted to give her a day off to detox from the stresses of her job and they don't get the opportunity to be alone often, so I came back here. Besides, books, libraries, and bookstores keep me calm and happy. It's the atmosphere. Mellow day. Finally.

Honey, I can feel your pain (to quote Clinton of all people). My mom has been dead ten days now and the pain still won't go away. I'm still going through all the emotions and it's really affecting everything I've been trying to do here. I keep hoping Mom will show up to take me away from all the madness that is real life. I guess all I can offer is to think of all the good memories. The pain may never really go away but the good thoughts hopefully can bring some comfort.

Thanks y'all. (Sorry to hear that rubber soul. My mother dying is my number one worst nightmare; I cannot imagine.)

Well, last night I got my new friend to push me around in a broken wheelbarrow we found in the cemetery shed, (yes, I have once again somehow managed to round up a bunch of strangers for a cemetery stroll) so I've had enough fun for one week I think.

Cemetery partying for the win. About 5 minutes from where I grew up was a small private one built by a hugely rich family. Nothing but upper crust peeps in that dirt.

Damn, they've let the grass go to ****. Use to be all nice and green 30 years ago.
