You know this discussion reminds me of my job at a supermarket. The big bosses who never experienced what it was like to be a cashier wanted us to do all sorts of ridiculous things because they knew the customers better than the ones who interacted with them every day did, I used to call these bozos "the Gods from Landover" (Landover was where the headquarters were). I may not agree with everything Occult is suggesting, but he sure knows more about what it's like to be in the classroom than some statistician.
