I shaved my head once. I loved it for like a week and then regretted it immensely for the entire two years it took to grow out.

That has been my experience every time I've shaved my head. The in between stage sucks.

Try being a smoker who drinks heavily. The next morning is like a demon has emerged slimy and squirming from your throat as you slept, and now you have to purge the putrid effluvia of its ascension.
