I really don't mean this to be patronizing, I can't figure out how to make myself sound more genuine over text, but Chula maybe you could make all of this into an art piece or something. You could enter it in the fair. That might sound silly but I'm a big believer in art as therapy and it's a really productive way to focus your energy surrounding this big life event, it gives you the opportunity solidify your emotions into a tangible thing that allows you to distance yourself and/or revisit it, and it sounds like you need some kind of catharsis. Anyway sorry for the unsolicited advice and I'm sorry if it's stupid but maybe it's something that could be good? |

Tbh, probably not. I'm just getting to know Linux and I might lead you astray. I can point you in the direction of some useful resources if you'd like, though.

He didn't. They're still there.
WWWP's suggestion is a good one. As I said, I don't want to sound nasty but to me it's almost kind of embarrassing to see you posting this stuff. It's kind of like if (visualise this unlikely event if you can, suspend your disbelief, I know it's hard) I had been married and it had broken up, and I suddenly started posting personal stuff about it. It just seems like this is the wrong forum (!) to be doing such things. I don't know; maybe I'm in the minority here, but it gives me a kind of disquieting feeling, like we're peering in your window or something.

I'm not usually bothered by what Chula says on this forum like most other people are, and this is no exception. I don't really see a problem with how Chula is expressing his emotions over this, because let's face it, who of us all have gone through a divorce? I'd say not very many. There isn't really any way anybody is supposed to cope with this kind of thing, so let Chula just do what he feels is best for his own mental health. I know you guys jump on Chula all the time, but give him a break just this one time. The man is going through a pretty rough time and all he's looking for is support.

Sometimes it is supportive to say hey man are you sure.

...and someone's now embarrassed that he's posting personal stuff? This thought has never occurred to you before? Posting his marriage certificate is surprising, how? |
