Today:
-Finally finished moving out of house into an extended stay motel (while packing up the last of the attic stuff I discovered treasures such as: halloween spider string lights, a giant rubber bat I used to hang above my bed, my old Scully & Mulder barbie dolls, a terrifying antique clown doll, this weird ratty leather crop top (it looks like netting almost, sort of like chainmail but leather) that I bought when I was 15 off ebay during my Tank Girl phase, my X-Files poster, a Hellblazer poster I'd gotten for an ex forever ago but forgot about (anyone want it?) and the 50+ ancient mix cds I made in high school (might have to create a journal reviewing them all because I'm sure they're awful. And they're all labeled cryptically so I'll never know what I'm getting. One of them just has a drawing of a snail in permanent marker on it) EDIT: Oh oh also!!! The Sims 1 Mega Deluxe edition! (It includes Makin' Magic which was the best expansion) The cds are miraculously still in good condition so I'm going to install it the SECOND my PC is set up here. I may just have to stream it. (Not that I've ever done that or know how) -Received a cow skull in lieu of coyote skulls that were owed to me by my brother in law (my Santa Muerte novena candle will look perfect next to it) And my motel room is on the third story, so hauling up 10+ boxes was super super fun. BUT I have a few mini bottles of wine at least. |

Just learned my brother's in the hospital with (possibly) pneumonia :c he's at my dad's this weekend; tonight he (my dad) walked into his room after feeling like something wasn't right and found him lying on the floor breathing really quickly and unable to get up. He had to call an ambulance. I'm terrified for him because he has autism and has severe sensory issues; he must be so overwhelmed right now with all of the nurses prodding at him. Since he's non-verbal it's doubly stressful when these things happen, as we cannot know for sure what his exact symptoms are as he can't express them like you or I can. (They're still doing tests; he's been sick with the flu, like I was, but I'm so worried-- people have died from the flu this year. If something were to happen to him it would destroy me.)
