Today was quite good. It was my day off from work so I watched Captain Beefheart - Under Review, picking up on what Gary Lucas reffered to as "the exploding note theory" so Ive been doing that on guitar. Plus I went and had my haircut and later I listened to Public Enemy.

Choice, you could buy a luxury foot spa with that haha.

You know what really sucks? Picture this, you're running a dialup connection, you bring up an album to download that is 72.3mb, you take the plunge and begin downloading. You go away for what seems like a million hours, you come back to have a look, it's nearly there, 89% at 64.5mb. You hit the Internet icon by the start bar, and BAM!!! Your download freezes! Son of a bitch!!!

....so my day has been pretty good.

Was assigned to golfing duties this morning with an 8th dan from Japan, 2nd most senior man in all of Aikido, he loves his golf. He just got in from the airport 15 hours ago, which left me thinking, whats this bulshit about Jetlag? Not to mention he's about 70! Anyway, we'd arranged for 7.15am tee off, so this morning mum comes in and goes, what time are you meant to be playing? I look at the clock and it's 7.07 am. Son of a bitch!!! My alarm clock hadn't gone off! So the next 5 minutes is the most hardcore get up and go ever performed by anyone. I was in the car and down at the course by 7.20.

Everything turned out just great, except I forgot my glove, hayfever tablet, golf balls and breakfast

Everyone can tell me how much they suck, but I just got back from the 3 Inches of Blood/The 69 Eyes/CRADLE OF FILTH concert and it was pretty good. First off we arrive to hear some metal-techno band that sounded like ****. Then we wait 45 minutes for a set up, which apparently another local band was supposed to perform but decided to go smoke pcp instead. So 3 inches of blood was okay.....not my style really, a bit redneck. But I did get a few hits off a really nice blunt from a stranger, so that made it better.

The 69 Eyes suprised me with their appearance. I really didnt think they had that whole 80s hair metal look going on. They sounded good anyway and played my four favorite songs. Also, the lead singer has an enormous penis, or else stuffs his tight, tight pants. But the drummer honestly does have nice "man lines".

Then we wait 30 minutes for Cradle to set up, and by this time my buzz was gone and I was DEAD tired. So I lean on a friend and nearly fall asleep. I was about 10 feet from the stage when they came on and everyone bum-rushed the stage and I ended up being pushed to 5 feet from the stage and Dani looked great for the scary little midget he is and the band sounded amazing. They did the perfect mix of old and new songs.

Also, between bands I went to the bathroom with a friend and an incredibly drunk man(not at all attractive) asked me what I was doing later and if I wanted to "hang out". He did this for like fifteen minutes and by this time I was like "what the HELL is she doing in the bathroom, SAVE ME!"

Annnnd while packed like sardines against the stage, pushing and shoving I THINK I had sex with like three guys. We were close enough to, there was movement, there was gropage. fun fun. I told my fiance that and all he had to say was "not funny."

And now I have to get up at 7 to be at work by 8. FUN FUN FUN. Worth it though.
