OMFG yes. This would have been one of my proudest gaming stories. A vaguely similar one is how I was playing a WW2 real-time strategy game (Blitzkrieg) in the last Russian mission where I was invading Berlin, instead of using tanks, planes, and artillery to force my way across a heavily defended front I instead sent unsupported infantry units of between 100-200 men to their deaths over and over and over and over again, over a period of many hours, just because the dead bodies didn't disappear in this game and I wanted to completely carpet the massive map on this mission in my men's intestines. The visual evidence of my lack of humanity (that now doesn't exist unfortunately) was one of my proudest gaming moments. It was truly a Stalingrad-esque display of madness.
