I came across the point that there’s no evolutionary purpose to sustained happiness. Also, we’re not actually evolved to live in this world but rather our ancestors world. After a certain point it’s like you have to invent reasons to soldier on instead of just feeling like it’s right when you’re young. You try to play it off like you’re dissatisfied with work or your marriage. You try to change things up but the dark cloud stays because what’s really unsatisfactory is life itself.

My biggest challenge right now is to keep the kids from lashing out. They're both pretty angry with her for running away and dumping everything on my shoulders.

She was making $1400 a month which is now gone. I was having to spend $1000 out of our savings every month to pay the bills. Do the math.

Plus I just found out she drained our savings account for $10K. About half. It's hers to be fair.

I have about 3 months before I'm dry and have to hire liquidators to clean out the house and then sell it and move into something low rent.

2018 was supposed to be a good year.
