how is that indirect

Could you link me to that law? Google search mostly brings up poorly written articles and forums, I like to see the source. It seems to be more of a guideline than anything.

Fair play to the Canadas.

They know how to eat safely.

If I move to Canada, can I become a burger inspector?

i linked an article in my previous post

oh you mean like the law on a government site? no. i’m on mobile and not about to search the depths of the internet to find it, but it most definitely is the case and it’s the reason why restaurants don’t offer it around here and why canadians assume it’s unsafe.

Yes I know, it's the first ****ty article that comes up in a Google search, plus it hints that there are some Canadian establishments that sell raw burgers. Can you link the law? Because that's different from an industry standard.

it took me two seconds to find this https://www.canada.ca/en/health-cana...ltry-2014.html

it’s not a law but it’s health canada’s guide which is why canadians are typically fond of the idea of eating raw beef which is also why restaurants hardly offer it

This is for a burger I assume?

One of the more interesting vegan options I have seen.
