The point is, from what she said, Ped doesn't actually want a relationship at the moment; she's just doing this to assuage her mother's fears, which I think is the wrong way to go about it. Her mother worried she'd die alone, which indicates that she (her mother) wants Ped to find a partner with whom she can have a LTR. Sure, that may happen online, but if you're being kind of shamed or embarrassed or guilted into it, surely you're going to end up going for the wrong person just to "get someone"? I don't see that as being healthy but of course that's just my opinion. However it definitely isn't good to go online looking for someone when you don't really want to, and it makes you feel the wrong way. Ped is young, and beautiful, and she has more than enough time to find her soulmate at her own pace and in her own time. There's no need to rush it just because her mother is worried about her future.

That's how I see it, anyway.

Yeah that's a separate issue though tbh just read like you were saying internet dating is desperate/there was something sad about using the internet for dating.

I've been with a couple girls I met off the internet. Wasn't 'dating' in the sense I was looking though just girls I'd started speaking to online but I don't see a problem with stuff like Tinder & that though. So many guys are using that now.

well yeah i very seldomly get lippy with customers cuz im a pussy who needs my job but goddamn ive heard one of my coworkers go in on customers

just yesterday i had a wholesale customer bitch me out because the new guy ****ed up and charged him too much and i just gave him the old “oh im so sorry let me fix that for you right away”
