or go and get yourself one of those and come back to me in a year

I'm gonna have an associate's degree still, not like I can't get any job

I don't think anybody has the right to tell you which path is best suited for you since none of us really know what opportunities you currently have and which doors may shut. We like to think we can predict and control our lives so well but at the end of the day we're all just trying to find a way to use life's current to push us towards where we want to go. I'm sure you're smart and thoughtful and carefully decided which path you feel would work best for you and what you want not with a social standard of what you're told is best. What ever you decide to do, I hope you find your way to what you want and that you don't get eaten by a pack of frisky goblins that will brew you in a nice soup.

And any job requiring a degree you're going to be competing against people who have at least a bachelor's. An associate's is probably the equivalent of a GED vs. a high school degree. Not saying you can't make it work or that all jobs will care, but you still have a McDegree.

Seeing as my aspirations currently include such titles as "calzone cook" and "grocery stocker", I'm not too worried. Most of the manager at the grocery store I worked at have degrees and went back to managing after hating their field, I'm just skipping a step.

Hey if you don't like school or legit want a job you'd need to go back for then by all means don't go, but dead end jobs should not be taken lightly. They're soul sucking pits that breed misanthropy and fatalism. Not everyone enjoys that as much as I do.

trying to save you some hassle but maybe it's just something you gotta learn yourself

maybe don't go back to school if you're failing a class anyway, it's just what I would do if given the opportunity

I worked as a grocery stocker for a year and a half and I actually kinda miss it, it's odd but I don't really mind that sorr of work and I would've stayed if they didn't conflict so much with my school schedule by making us stay past 12 sometimes but if I wasn't in school I would of done it happily. I'm not like leaving right now either I'm in the middle of getting an associates and I'm gonna finish that and just not transfer to a university like I planned before. Besides, my major is film. I have little to no interest in getting a job like that because it's just not my passion like music is and that would take up so much of my time even if I did freelance film so it's just not worth it. I don't see the point in going to college if there's no degree I truly care about.
