He was a depressed kid but no-one saw this coming.

Used his dad's gun and she came home to the body. I can't even imagine.

That was one of the hardest phone-calls I've ever made.

Lots of crying. I got her to laugh a few times over memories, which she thanked me for. Told her about how close I came - she said she'd heard the same thing from others, and that it was helping her to deal.

We reminded each other a lot about our family love.

Call ended with "I love you's".

Hung up and balled like a baby.

Damn, dude. I hope **** gets better for you and your peeps. Seems like a lot of bad **** all around, but some good **** is inevitable just by chance if nothing else. Maybe we'll invade China and take back all your ****.

I'm so sorry man. I remember getting up early one morning in 2015 to call my mom to arrange for her to take my son home later that day and hearing her utter the words: "I just got a call saying Brittany died."

That conversation plays in my head nearly every day. And the subsequent reactions from me informing my family members of my sister's death. I'll never get those conversations out of my head.

Chula, truly I hope that your family is able to cope with this loss and can move forward to make something positive out of it.
