My cat got outside while I was taking out recycling last Thursday night and ran off. A neighbor a few doors down found her the next day and took her in. Someone alerted her to an online post about my missing cat and she brought her back to me yesterday. She was gone for 4 days. The kiddos were torn up about it. Damn thing refuses to wear a collar.

**** what the cat wants, a collar with a tag engraved with her/his name and your cell number is a no-brainer.

If you have outdoor cats those collars can get stuck on just about anything and actually be harmful.

I have a collar with all of her info on it, but she won't wear it. When I put it on her, she tries to squeeze it over her head and it keeps getting caught in her mouth, obstructing her breathing and leaving her unable to eat or drink. I've tried different types of collars, but it's always the same story.

OK.
I guess my visit back east was a good thing afterall. When I left to come home last Thursday his vitals had started bouncing back. He's been on the upswing ever since and is actually getting released from the hospital today!!!!

I've been kinda annoyed with my job lately and contemplating looking for a new one. But I'm lazy and it's not that bad, so I didn't really do anything about it.
Today **** was especially annoying and just then I got mail from a headhunter with a pretty interesting job offer. I think I'll take this as a sign to get off my ass an take a look around.

Thanks for the props for my Dad. Last Tuesday evening we were all pretty sure he wouldn't last the night.
