Happy Endings are awesome.

**** what the cat wants, a collar with a tag engraved with her/his name and your cell number is a no-brainer.

If you have outdoor cats those collars can get stuck on just about anything and actually be harmful.

I have a collar with all of her info on it, but she won't wear it. When I put it on her, she tries to squeeze it over her head and it keeps getting caught in her mouth, obstructing her breathing and leaving her unable to eat or drink. I've tried different types of collars, but it's always the same story.

OK.

I guess my visit back east was a good thing afterall. When I left to come home last Thursday his vitals had started bouncing back. He's been on the upswing ever since and is actually getting released from the hospital today!!!!

If I had pets, I wouldn't do this, but it is a vaiable option:

I've been kinda annoyed with my job lately and contemplating looking for a new one. But I'm lazy and it's not that bad, so I didn't really do anything about it.
Today **** was especially annoying and just then I got mail from a headhunter with a pretty interesting job offer.
I think I'll take this as a sign to get off my ass an take a look around.

Jeez! Were you that hungry???
Seriously, great news and I hope your neighbour gets some good karma for her good deed.

yeah me too, but even if he had de-fleaed the cat, it's hard to bring a strange cat in to the territory of an established one. Not worth the hassle.

Does he give you the finger? I mean, claw?

You ever tried to get a cat to wear a collar? It's not easy. And it makes them miserable/angry/agitated/violent/all of the above.

Good news Chula, best to your dad. I'm sure he's a tough old bird.

Ours is strictly an indoor cat. We let it out on the patio supervised.

Thanks for the props for my Dad. Last Tuesday evening we were all pretty sure he wouldn't last the night.
