Fire update: still evacuated, won't be able to return home until the end of the weekend at best. No power or gas, lots of destroyed cell towers and bad info being spread. It's chaos, but this community is a damn blessing. Grocery stores donating all of their stock to shelters, 5000 documented volunteers in 24 hours. I finally got a shower today, now trying to drink myself to sleep/numb the awful smoke inhalation headaches.
Here is a link to a youcaring campaign benefiting my grandma. We are focusing on first replacing her glasses and dentures so she can eat solid foods. If yo are able to contribute a couple dollars or share the link with someone who can I would really appreciate it. <3 https://www.youcaring.com/stacysincheff-977220 |
Had a heated argument with my boss today where I called him a "lazy fuck" after he disappeared for an hour to the bank (supposedly) during which we got slammed while shorthanded. I was literally a second away from chucking my BK hat at him and storming out. Twice. He does this **** so often that it's become a running joke at my store. He is a lazy **** btw, even though I do like him and we're cool. I'll give him credit for not firing me on the spot and having a calm discussion with me later at the end of my shift. Clearly I could have handled it better, but that moment when your boss throws his boss weight around and you have to either back down or get fired is quite possibly the most degrading in all of capitalism. This is another reason I don't want to have kids. With children to support I'd basically not even have the option to say **** it and put my boss on blast when I'm justified. **** jobs.
And yes, I realize that I am also a lazy ****, but I at least don't actively dick over my coworkers with my laziness. |
I sat at Starbucks all day trying to figure out how to expose my music and then I took my car to the shop and learned I gotta drop $1000 to fix it which I can't afford. But the highlight was consuming some of the devil's lettuce and jamming away on my keyboard and singing my heart out to an audience of zero; my favorite kind of audience. All around decent day:)
