I have some thinning hair on the top of my head and I've been growing suspicious that my headphones are the culprit since the spot is exactly where the headband touches my head. I'm probably picking at straws but I can't help but wonder. Honestly I don't even know if I'm more worried about going bald or having to chuck my headphones.

You know there is medication you can take that's proven to stop the balding process? You need to take it every day for the rest of your life though and it's the sort of thing you can get potentially nasty side effects from.
