Some people make there childhoods out of TV shows they grew up watching. Or that's how it always seem to me. I made my childhood out of three animals. My two dogs Piper and Cherokee. Plus my cat, archer...

Today my cat passed away at 19 years old. He was the last surviving piece of my childhood.

Oh man, so sorry. 19 is a great age though.

That sucks, man. When I was thirty, I lost the cat I had picked out of the shelter in sixth grade. It hurts a lot when then happens. I'm sorry for your loss.

We just put down a 21 year old not too long ago. It's always rough. Condolences to you and family.

Of course this is very raw for me, as I had to have Ritchie put to sleep only two months ago now. He was 15, but a kitten at heart. Damn, I miss him every day. Still, I have his tiny little coffin in my room and pet it every morning and night. What are the arrangements for your cat, blank? Are you burying him or having him cremated, or what?

We buried him in his blanket next to his brothers. I don't believe in cremation really. I did it to my for my dog but that was because it was winter and the ground was frozen solid. I wasn't going to shove him in a freezer til the earth warmed.

I didn't realize you could get coffins for pets. I'm not surprised but I never even entertained the idea.

Wait, the cat's not in the coffin, right? But then why have a coffin in the first place if you're not going to put anything in it? But you can't just have a dead cat in your room for two months. Wut.

We all mourn in different ways.
