When I first read that I was completely baffled as to who Harvey was-- I kept thinking, "Harvey..? Who is Harvey? Is that a reference to something I'm not getting?" for a good two minutes before remembering the whole hurricane thing. Haven't had enough coffee yet today.

I'm all the way up in north Texas, so the hurricane hasn't affected us. It was pleasantly dreary and rainy for about a week, but that's it.

that's pretty reassuring for the most part, providing i'm not also one of the few.

i'm hoping it can be a tool that helps me get back to my old self rather than something i'll need to rely on for the future but we'll see.

If you do start taking it, be very careful about abruptly stopping. My doctor very seriously warned me about stopping my zoloft without his supervision.

I guess once your body and brain equalize on the meds, removing them quickly can cause a very bad reaction - sometimes even resulting in suicide.

i'm guessing this is why my doctor made another appointment for two weeks time. gives him a chance to take me off or change my dosage before my body becomes too used to them? not sure. anyway, i'm willing to give it a shot regardless because i haven't really felt like myself for a few weeks now.

1000% Serious. 50mg of Zoloft has made life worth living for me.

Go for it and hopefully meds work out for you like they have for me.

Yes, that's what I was talking about.
Glad you're ok.
This is also Harvey.
He's not real.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I just stopped. Wasn't even really warned about stopping either.

I know that people sometimes have to go through a few medications before they find the one that works for them, but how I felt on Sertraline was not normal, it was terrible and that was after two or three days.

Don't have to go into details Q-Man but have they just put you straight on medication?
