I was drunk/high as **** like 8 years ago with some friends, and one of their girlfriends was talking about how much they loved astrology and I mentioned that I definitely didn't believe in planets deciding the fate of every single person on earth, but that I might be open to a form of the personality-being-decided-by-astrological-sign thing.

I read some study or something that said that a mother's state of mind can affect the mental and mood development of an unborn child, and I figured it was at least mildly feasible that the changing of the seasons could have a cyclical effect on children born at certain times of year, especially in the past (winter causes stress due to starvation, spring reduces stress due to not being so ****ing cold, etc).

I'd do some research but I honestly don't give a ****. I thought that people willing to believe in something with little to no evidence behind it would be at least somewhat receptive, but apparently even the barest hint of science and reason takes all the fun out of their superstitious, peasant nonsense.

I think I remember that study. And the thing about the season/month of one's birth affecting their health and mental state later on may be somewhat true as well according to these two studies (not that anyone cares) :

· Those born in autumn show a significantly lower tendency to depressive temperament than those born in winter.

I love you guys, you've all been good friends for years now. I know that my participation in this forum has been a bit lacking as I've actually kinda gained somewhat of a life now, but I'll never forget y'all. Not leaving, but with Ki's coming absence/retirement I feel pretty sentimental about the place and the friends I've made here.
