1. Yac just told me the moderators rejected my request to be made a mod.

2. The doctor just told me I have skin cancer.

Not sure which news is worse.

That sucks man. If you don't mind sharing what else did he tell you about your skin cancer? Skin cancer can be manageable or deadly depending on the status and type.

So he cut a spot off my forehead, gave me three stitches, and did a biopsy. It's basal cell carcinoma (the most common type and easily caught and controlled skin cancer).

He thinks he got it all, but I have to go back once a month for check-ups to make sure. What with the amazing state of health insurance here, I have no financial worries about as many check-ups as I need.

Basically, I was horribly sunburned as a child on several occasions, and the doctor told me that people who are burned like that in childhood almost always develop some kind of carcinoma later in life.

During the check-ups, I'm going to have him look at my (red)neck and shoulders, too, to see if there are any more spots. Not that I've seen, but I'm not a doctor.

Sorry about that man. Hope he did get it all. Best wishes to yourself and Ked.

But did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

Best wishes with your health man.
