The end of the road might finally be in sight. Before I explain, PLEASE everyone knock on some wood, cross your fingers and toes, say a prayer, sacrifice a chicken, paint your naked body with sheeps blood, etc. Whatever will pass along positive vibes.
After many tedious and difficult months of negotiations it looks like the lawsuit settlement might finally be getting finalized. Because our contract got tossed we're basically getting screwed but will be able to settle things with our bank and pacify the insane owner of the Chinese factory. Also, no more legal fees every month. And the crazy stress levels would hopefully start slowly subsiding. Just checked my Outlook and I have 528 significant emails saved in a folder titled "Lawsuit". And we still have about 7,500 sheets of paper (250 sheets per inch) all over the garage and my office of emails, purchase orders, quotes, sales orders, and other various stuff related to the suit. The day I get to delete and throw away all of that **** will be like kicking an elephant off of my chest. Bat, don't go overboard with the sheep's blood..... |

I can knock on the wood paneling in my bedroom though. So I will do that and light some sage. Positive thoughts and vibes your way. |

First, positive vibes going your way, Chula. Hope it all gets sorted out.
Second, who'd like to hear about my day? Well, my week really? Nobody? Tough: I'm gonna tell you anyway. Midnight Sunday last to Monday 10AM - Hospital, good old A&E. At least the ambulance arrived almost instantly, ie less than 30 mins. Monday 9PM to Tuesday 11 AM - Rinse and repeat. Ambulance this time took over an hour. Total time spent in A&E over two days: approx 25 hours One of our cats, Ritchie, the mad one, taken to the vet previous Friday after walking into the wall the previous night and then bumping into everything the next morning. Suspected concussion, personally. Turned out he has gone blind in one eye. Also has high blood pressure due to an overactive thyroid. Picked him up Friday, was advised he is now basically blind in both eyes. Have watched him bump his way around the house for three days now. Trying to figure out if I should just end it for him, as he seems to be really miserable and I have already stepped on him twice, not realising he was behind me. Two or three crying fits from Karen, and I haven't even mentioned the possibility of drastic action. Yet. Now she's feeling sick and can't eat. Oh yeah, almost forgot: had to give her an enema yesterday morning. That was fun. Won't be the last one either I expect. My life has literally turned to ****. Other than that, it's all good. :( |
