Damn, trying to fit a compact 13.5 second solo over a G-D-Em-C, cowboy chord progression is proving to be a lot harder than I thought.

I'm much more comfy just blowing over a fusion backing.

Going to have to compose a solo note for note for once in my life. Who woulda thunk it? First time in 43 years of playing.

****.

I had to hop off the train at a random station to take an emergency ****, delaying me on my morning commute. Left my lunch bag in the stall. ****!

I wouldn't even be taking the train if that woman hadn't hit me with her car and ****ed up my bike. ****!

Then I get to work and realize I've lost my USB flash memory device with all my class data on it (no, it wasn't in my lunch bag). Of course I have everything backed up on Dropbox. I do this daily. But still. ****! Now I have to get a new USB.

Just mapped my trip back home. I'll be driving up into Canada and hitting up five national parks (Glacier/Banff/Jasper/Grasslands/Riding Mountain) on my way to Madison, Wisconsin. From there I stop in Chicago to spend some time with a friend for a couple days and then a days drive back to NJ/NYC. I think I'm more excited to do this than I was to drive out here. I have two extra days from when I need to be in Chicago so I can spend more time in two parks. Not sure which ones I'm going to choose. Probably Banff and Jasper but Grasslands could be another one. The route I'm taking through Canada looks scenic as f*ck. Very very excited. Going to make the best out of this because it'll most likely be my last adventure for a little while.

Check out my route!

**** it. Just learned the song's solo note for note. The original is played on a pedal steel but by using double stop bends I'm able to ape it almost exact.

Pressure off. Yes, I'm a pussy.
