If he was alive to tell the story.

We would never hear it.

I'm truly an awesome person.

Linda came home and told me that a house down the street had a gutter that had gotten unhinged (it's a windy day here today) and that it was hanging right next to a large plate glass window. I run down the street to inform our neighbor.

Turns out to be this little elderly woman who tells me she's called the home owner's association but she's really worried because she can hear the gutter tapping her window because of the wind.

I run home, grab a cushion and some masking tape, run back, and do a temporary fix so her window won't get shattered. She comes out with her eyes all welled up and thanks me.

May 15th, 2017. A good day. :thumb:

(tomorrow is probably gonna suck)

I guess you didn't know how to fix her gutter.

I trend downward. Not upward.

Glad you're over it.

Mike's home! After the major falling out we had right before he last left (broken rib and seriously sprained finger as a result), the huge, and lasting bear hug we shared felt really really awesome.

In all seriousness, it was nice. He's sleeping on the couch downstairs after I gave him a pillow and a blanket. The dude is obviouslly running on fumes considering his life place. He's in a 100% comfortable place right now, and feeling secure for probably the first time in over 2 months.

Makes me feel like a good daddy!
