Had a teary goodbye with my best friend tonight as he's moving somewhere with better living prices. It's obviously a better situation for him than down here because he's done nothing but struggle since he got out of high school, but it's still rough. At least I won't have to hang out with his annoying ass wife anymore though.

That's rough. Nothing worse than saying goodbye's.

Sorry for the delay - been real busy. While I can't defy physics to fit into the Superman pjs, I can offer the next best thing - me in 2014 in a skin-tight children's small New Kids on the Block t-shirt, with a New Kids charm bracelet and a copy of Hangin' Tough.

File under: Blackmail.

Spoke with my best friend of 44 years on the phone this morning. We both have birthdays coming up so I wanted to remind him that when we first met we were a combined 27 years old and by the time May is done we'll be 115.

It's so amazing that we can not be in touch for many months at a time yet the second we hear each other's voices it's like we haven't missed a beat and we immediately fall into the same rhythym we both had at 19-20 years old.

I'm still chuckling over some of the shared memories we drummed up this morning.

Is it a decent overview of punk though? Or just a recap of the Big 3 and an after mention of the bigger post-punk groups (or talking about 2nd wave New Wave bands as if they were part of the scene)?

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
