Had a teary goodbye with my best friend tonight as he's moving somewhere with better living prices. It's obviously a better situation for him than down here because he's done nothing but struggle since he got out of high school, but it's still rough. At least I won't have to hang out with his annoying ass wife anymore though.

That's rough. Nothing worse than saying goodbye's.

It's a polite way of saying she's dumb as ****.

Spoke with my best friend of 44 years on the phone this morning. We both have birthdays coming up so I wanted to remind him that when we first met we were a combined 27 years old and by the time May is done we'll be 115. :yikes:

It's so amazing that we can not be in touch for many months at a time yet the second we hear each other's voices it's like we haven't missed a beat and we immediately fall into the same rhythym we both had at 19-20 years old.

I'm still chuckling over some of the shared memories we drummed up this morning.

Is it a decent overview of punk though? Or just a recap of the Big 3 and an after mention of the bigger post-punk groups (or talking about 2nd wave New Wave bands as if they were part of the scene)?
