Got a substantial raise today, bigger than I would have dared to ask. Also a bonus for having to work with a really obnoxious client of ours.
Plus lots of praise for being an amazing and efficient worker. Feels good.

Tfw you get a call from work telling you that you didn't clock out when you left, but you stayed 45 minutes late, and now you're paranoid they're gonna accidentally screw you out of 45 minutes of work.

Opposite problem. Was supposed to get off from a 5 hour shift. End of shift comes. Random coworker late. I assume this is why nobody is taking over my shift. Late person shows up. Still nobody covers my shift. Ask the manager wtf is up. Apparently there just wasn't anyone coming in till an hour later. So they just made a retarded schedule where I'd just have to stay an extra hour and never told me, even when it came time that I should have gotten off. My job is the worst with writing schedules. Manager on shift was the one who made the schedule. Wtf.

I spent most of the day in bed nursing my right eye. I'm not sure what happened but I woke up and it was bloodshot and had really intense pain in it. I could barely open my eyelids long enough to put whatever that eye medication was in it.

I ended up missing out on two meetings one which was most likely going to be bull**** and boring and the other that was practice for the big rally tomorrow night in my area.
