I forgot about In My Time of Dying, which I've rediscovered is an awesome song, and Achille's Last Stand was on my shortlist, but however much **** I give Zep, the **** that is good is still knocking on the door of the best rock music ever made, so it's a hard list to make.

Your avatar looks like you took my advice to reconsider your life so I'll take this as a win.

I always told myself that I would never use an anime avatar, cause **** people who do, but I really love this one.

Oh my Jesus, Oh my Jesus....

From a time when dinosuars walked the earth. And walked proudly.

The jamming that starts at 3:20? Power, Mystery, and The Hammer of the Gods.

And if you are not a fan of Plant, check out from 10:28 onward. Rock and Roll baby.

And I would also like to say that the first LP from Physical Graffiti is pretty much the relatively pure rock/metal album I always wanted from Led Zeppelin, and therefore the best thing they ever did. Even the blues flirtations are far better realized than on Led Zeppelin I. Probably, it's been awhile since I've listened to the album in full.

I've watched that scores of times and it never fails to move me mightily. Awesome.

Black Dog
Misty Mountain Hop (this one’s always been way up there for me – see amazing '79 performance below)
The Ocean
Trampled Under Foot
No Quarter
Ten Years Gone
The Rain Song
D'yer Mak'er
Kashmir
In My Time of Dying
All My Love

The Rover alone justifies this post.

One of the coolest song justified solos ever recorded. John Paul Jones kills on this.

Bonham is just a given.
