I would happily do that if it weren't for the security issue. I can prove that I've saved money for the past few years to allow myself to have a steady cash flow. I went through most of last year on savings and the remnants of the pay I was getting from the job I left. And I'm still fine.

I didn't realize the concept of saving money was seen as sanctimonious.
