Then again...we get to say "Donald Trump is our president" so I guess I understand.

i have a lebanese friend who went over to visit family in lebanon for the first time. not sure where exactly he is but he keeps telling me how much he loves it over there. guess that just goes to show how different the tourist experience can be versus actually living there.

That's pretty cheap as well.

Same can be said for anywhere I think. People outside of Seattle expect it to rain all the time (which it does) but when they come here, they're struck with how green and beautiful it is.

i do like lebanon and i like living here but it'd be dumb to say it's the safest place on earth.

also don't be selfish.

I would just ride it out with my parents but my Dad says he won't support me getting a liberal arts degree and on one hand he's totally being sensible but on the other where does he get off thinking he can make that decision for me **** you I'll show you Dad

how is that sensible

What type of job were you planning on getting with said liberal waste of time arts degree?

It kinda is though. There is a jump for job requirements from hs diploma to bs degree. Ive never seen a job asking for a minimum of an associates. Most of an associates is a reteaching of hs with a few course electives relating to ur planned bs or expanding your worldly view.
