No, but alcohol tastes bad. If it didn't small children the world over would go blind from sneaking rubbing alcohol when their parents weren't looking. Everything tastewise that goes into booze is there to trick you into forgetting that. There's plenty of booze that I enjoy drinking, but there will still always be that alcohol taste lingering on my tongue to remind me that I the reason I drink is to get drunk.

My point is that not all alcoholic drinks taste bad or even like alcohol. Ever had a Singapore Slim? Any stout ever? Rose wine? Just because Jim Beam and Steel Reserve are nasty doesn't mean that every alcoholic drink is.

And I've already said that I like drinking plenty of booze, but you can still almost always taste the alcohol, and it's not a good taste.

With the right blend it can. You don't just go around eating handfuls of curry, do you? No, you put that **** in a dish with a bunch of other crap to accompany the flavour. My theory is that this entire concept has brought us the existence of beer, wine, and everything else that isn't grain alcohol.

But alcohol has a uniquely repellant taste that doesn't really combine with anything. It's all the other flavors in the booze that combine to mask the alcohol taste.

More like far enough down the rabbit hole that I understand the rabbits and how they work and how the depiction of the rabbit from The Holy Grail has shaped perceptions of rabbits in the media to the point of making it so that rabbits are unable to find housing and have to resort to living in holes.
