Well I have native blood kept in the very little sovereign areas of my body where my white blood forced them into after taking their land. So in all good conscious I can't really proudly celebrate Thanksgiving.

My mom's dad was native American. Had the classic hook nose and dark skin.
I'm doing a whole bone in turkey breast in a crock pot. May sound weird but every review I've read from folks who've done it this way is stellar. Super juicy without having to brine. One sweet onion and bulb of garlic cut in half and laid in the bottom of the crock pot as a foundation for the turkey. Melt a TBSP of butter and combine with an ounce of dried Lipton Onion Soup mix. Separate the skin from the meat and then rub the mixture both under and on top of the skin. Slowly pour about an 1/8th cup of vegetable stock over the turkey and then top with some fresh chopped rosemary, sage, and thyme. Cook on high for an hour and then on low for another seven hours. Once the meat reaches 165 degrees you are good to go. Strain the liquids and mix with a roux to make a killer gravy.

Thanksgiving rules because turkey dinner rules. Of course I had my Thanksgiving back in October because the Earth spins backwards in Canada but I will be patiently awaiting bird pics.
