Have you looked into marvel unlimited? I don't know how it works admittedly, but I imagine it'd be something like Netflix but for comics.

I already know one site where I can get back issues, so I'm sure getting my new comics online won't be a problem. I'm just kind of heartbroken that one of the only places worth going to for miles around is going to be gone while we have two Walmarts in close proximity. It may not have been the biggest or best comic store on earth, but it was MY mediocre comic store and the people there knew my face (if not my name, cause who gives out names to people you see every single week?).

Gonna have to ask the store clerks if they'll be doing anything once the store closes. Maybe there's some slim hope that one of them is gonna buy the store, or open another one, or knows another store that's still relatively close, or ****ing something!

The worst possible thing ever. My local comic book shop is closing in October. For over a year it's been my favorite place that isn't a disc golf course, and now it's just gonna be gone... and the nearest comic book shop is assbackwards out of the way. Like, my shop is literally right across the street from my job so I'd be able to just stop by on new comic book day every week after work. I guess I'm gonna have to look into ordering comics online (I like physical copies and don't have enough space on my computer to be downloading digital comics indefinitely).

Soon-to-be RIP, Borderless Comics.

An ex-GF of mine is the manager at a comic book store down the street. They also sell Disc Golf disc's, and they're located about 3 blocks from my favorite course.

Just thought you'd like to know... maybe cheer you up a little... maybe send you into a murdering rage.

yes

Yes

YES!

Glorious rage. Just as I'd surmised.

I should add that she's hot, and just recently divorced... and still has a thing for me. I could be surrounding myself in comic books and discs if I wanted.

That should take the sting out, or not.
