If it's not specifically asking for languages, it probably means a basic understanding of the english language. Usually jobs would put which specific languages they want you to be able to speak. Although, being bilingual wouldn't be a bad thing. They probably just want to be sure you have an understanding of english.

That's pretty much what I thought. I speak a little bit of Spinach but not enough to call myself bisexual.

Spinach and France are two languages that I here alot of employers asking for. May wanna learned some if you have the time.
