I've had to do that a few times too. Do you wake up in the morning trying to convince yourself that it wasn't a dream? I've been having to do that today. I can remember it clear as day, but my mind instantly wants to believe it was a dream, even though I know it wasn't.

Fortunately I can say I haven't had that issue.

I don't believe in the paranormal or ghosts or any of that bull****, but one night after I finished brushing my teeth, I flicked off the light and walked out of the bathroom, then around the corner into what felt like a person. I jumped back and looked around, but nothing was there and both of my parents were in bed. Weird stuff.

My guess is that you were tired and walked into a wall or door.

Sleepy brains do stupid ****.

I've had this type of stuff happen to me on a first hand basis, so I can say with certainty that I believe in the paranormal. I understand the skepticism around it, but my opinion can't possibly change with the things I've seen.

You sure about that? There's a loooot of psychological (and occasionally physics based) information out there that rationalize potentially unexplainable things.

I'm positive. Again, I understand the skepticism. But I can't deny the fact that I've seen some **** that has left me speechless. Not saying it happens all the time, or I would consider myself a paranormal enthusiast. But it's like the story with the Amityville Horror. People can live it, but it's almost impossible to convince people that what you're saying is true.

Ya probably, I normally side with basic reasoning on stuff like this, which is why I don't buy into the whole paranormal thing, but it was a pretty weird experience to say the least.

I just view ghosts in the same light of religion, if I think the idea of an afterlife is ridiculous, how could I believe people return from the dead as a spirit?

Not even information that explains what you saw as a non-paranormal event would sway you? Wow.

Do you mind sharing?

The odd thing is, I'm not religious either, and I don't believe in a higher power, or an afterlife.
