Just applied for the food stamps debit card in NY. I manage two local companies, the lead app developer for one and the lead designer for the other, but my household income puts me at the poverty line. Go figure.

The site was a travesty. 2-minute spinning page load icons at every NEXT button, an organizational and unnavigable atrocity of a website. You're logged out every time you view the home page. And submitting the form you took 45 minutes to fill out crashes the site leaving you wondering whether or not they actually received the submission.

But if by some slim chance it did work, I may soon be able to shop at groceries stores where people wear shoes or even SHIRTS!

It's hard being a classy bastard skint and on the dole. But I'm headed for the big time.

You work two jobs but are below the poverty line? WTF? (This is not a criticism of you, of course, just my shock at the state of affairs.)

Today my friends and I got blasted and went to the beach. Good god it was packed with so many fine ladies today, it was ridiculous. We found a band playing at a reggae store and joined in on the extra drums they had at the store and played a twenty minute drum circle/dub/jazz/reggae thing. It was a lot of ****ing fun and the ten or so people there were loving it.

Didn't get out of bed until 1:00 yesterday and then spent the afternoon feeling like crap. Finally at 5:00 my body gave in and I violently threw up. Over the course of the next 2.5 hours I threw up five more times. Every time I knew it was coming I'd down a large glass of water so I didn't have the dry heaves.

Didn't eat a single thing all day. Gotta tell ya, at 56 years old vomiting so much over such a short span kicked the living **** out of me.

Here's a picture of some wet dog food to make you feel better.

Drink Pedialyte to prevent dehydration.

I drink G2 but I wasn't keeping anything down yesterday. Just a bad day. Feels totally great to be back to normal today!
