I worked at a gas station too and it was better than the fast food job. Even here in PR that is going through a horrible financial crisis the easiest job to get is a fast food job.

I'm a high school dropout too so I get there's not alot of options for us but there are some jobs for us like being a security guard, working in construction or even being a janitor. Obvz those jobs are not ideal but I think they're better than a fast food job.

Being a security guard would be much easier work, I think. You might be on your feet a lot, but that's no different from working fast food.

Depends on where you're a security guard at. If it's the mall on the wrong side of town, you may have a **** job dealing with bad people all day.
