I've always been a dollar menu kinda schlub, so before the last week or so I had never actually eaten a fast food "thick" burger, but now I have sampled one from both Hardee's and Wendy's. I assumed that they would be better than their actual burgers, but apparently the main goal was to allow the customers to be more aware than they ever were of just how much fast food beef tastes like unseasoned dog meat. I'll stick with the charred gristle sandwiches, thank you very much.

I had a buttery jack at jack in the box and there was like a whole stick of butter in the bun and it was pretty disgusting. Never again.

This whole thing with buttered burgers is a ****ing travesty. Bad enough Ruth Chris' does it with their steaks.

They have good burgers but they're the 7-10 dollar ones.

Nah, their burgers are awful. I'd rather have a thinner one where the taste of burnt covers up the actual meat. If I'm gonna pay that much I might as well go to an actual restaurant that will allow me to choose whether or not I want my burger cooked like an old shoe.

Am I the voice of sophistication right now, or do you all just only eat fast food when you're too drunk and/or high to know any better?

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are the same, right? Their burgers aren't mind blowing but they do the job.
