I'd caught the virus that my housemate had for the last two weeks and got the wobbly legs, aching and dizziness symptoms of it yesterday afternoon. This meant I missed out on going to my housemate Adeola's 2nd birthday night (she's having 3, so I suppose that attending 2 is ok) and slept a lot last night. By the time I awoke this morning the previous symptoms had already passed and I'd gone right into the snotty, sneezy phase. So I got my breakfast and then shut myself away in my bedroom so as not to infect the 13 others who were at the house for Adeola's birthday who had sleept at our house last night and were hanging out in the other rooms. Played the guitar, watched gladiator, surfed the net, grabbed myself some lunch and went back upstairs. By 4 I had pretty much stopped the sneezing and runny-nosing too, so I went to the city centre, looked in some shops, had dinner with Adeola and a couple of her friends, went to the lab to take an experiment off the mixer and then went and watched Marie Antoinette at the cinema. It was ****.

Now I'm going to bed. ****ing boring movie to end the day with, but at least I can be proud of my immune system for dealing in 2 days with the bug that incapacitated my other housemate Nikki for over a week. Go white blood cells!

That definately gives me a reason to cut back. I used to be really bad, endless forgotten nights. But thats the first night in a while that I really drank at.

There's always marijuana!

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Arcing ropes of jism take no prisoners. There may be a time in your life that the decision is taken out of your hands

so to speak
