Like I said, I'm the only one I know who's a big enough sociopath to do that, so you're almost guaranteed to be fine. When we get pissed at you, we generally just want you to get the **** out of our face as quickly as possible, so we just make your food as fast as we can in order to facilitate that. Messing with your hamburger would take longer, so you're fine.

You run that risk at any restaurant too, except the food doesn't always necessarily suck.

Plus now you're in Japan, you probably have it worse without realizing it.

I've been to plenty of fast food joints in my day, here or Stateside, and I always try to be as considerate and quick about ordering as possible. I'm never demanding or rude. I know that fast food workers bust their asses, and I'm not going to add to the stress of their day.
