I'd honestly never heard of this before googling it just now. It's relatively close to me (~2 hour drive) and I am looking to do more hiking this year - though I'd prefer a non guided one.

Yes, I have no doubt that it's a thoroughly beautiful area, although I'd have to come clean and admit that it'd be vastly more work getting there than my old, fat, bald ass would want to deal with at those altitudes. But I'd deal with it nonetheless to see it for two reasons

a. The geology, one of the richest Cambrian fossil layers on earth, magnificent finds like Anomalocaris

...and scores of other ancient creatures from the Cambrian Explosion, and:

b. These fossils of sea creatures were found on fossil beds in the staggering heights of the Canadian Rockies. Their very existence debunks Creationism. After all, there they are.

Howdy folks, been a while, stopping in to check up on ****. Been a very busy year for me so far, busy and very rewarding. Moved back to my hometown and have been settling back into the way things were before I left for school/job hunting. Most relaxed I've ever been these days, moved into exactly the sort of place I was looking for and started setting up a bit of home recording rig, looking forward to sharing some of the stuff I've been working on with you guys, Chula and Plank in particular.
