I am happy.
Honestly that sounds wonderful. Great for you. (No sarcasm in that.)

Today I built a quad (radio controlled drone) for my friend's son. Stated 14 years+ on the box but it took all the mental capacity I could muster to set it up and get it flying.

Sounds like a day in the life of Baloo the Bear... Did you also prick some raw paws with a prickly pear?

You can switch days with me if you like...

I just lost two full months of important, irreplaceable work due to accidental deletion. Apparently a "recycle bin" is too technologically cutting edge for an Apple device.

One full day's work > two month's lost work

Your own fault for using a Mac

Jk tho that really sucks and I'm sorry to hear it, what exactly are you going to do? Redo all the work again?

Where did you delete it from? When was your last device sync?

It's more like... very detailed record keeping of [work-related ****] from Dec-Jan... Now, instead of my well-deserved pat-on-the-back for a job well done, I get to look like I've been eating twinkies on the couch all day (metaphorically--not physically-- speaking, of course).

The only way to accurately replicate it is if I go back in time and transfer the documentation to my computer like I SHOULD have done, splurged on another ****ing ink cartridge refill (those things are highway robbery), and printed hard copies. Ya know, like a smart person who isn't into playing Russian Roulette with Murphy and his god-forsaken "law." The legalisic bastard.

The only reason I use Apple is because free tech gear > living in the Stone Age... Generally speaking, of course.
