Today at 2 i have to go a parent/teacher meeting. if it's anything like the last one i'll probably the only dad there. Im also going to be unemployed next month cause the place i work at is going outta business cause Puerto Rico atm is in a horrible financial crisis.
Puerto Rico's terrible economy is causing a population exodus - Jun. 15, 2015 Sh*t is no joke, many stores are closing and jobs are scarce, if im lucky i'll find a job at a walgreens and if im not i'll probably end working as a security guard.

It's not like they've never had the chance. Puerto Ricans are the ones who've voted to not become a state.

I was under the impression that there have been several votes over the years where Puerto Rico voted to remain a territory but not become a full state.

MAGNIFICENT! A triumph before 9 in the morning!
My Ubuntu PC had been idling at 95% CPU usage across all 4 cores for weeks, rendering system performance painfully slow (and at times completely non-responsive). I'd originally feared the issue was a perhaps an unfortunate side-effect of the 25ft cables I'd used to run my input devices and monitor to the server in my basement. Discontent with the situation, I Googled a solution and in less than 10 minutes, I'd cut my CPU usage from 95% to a mere EIGHT percent! The culprit was the Unity Dash process indexing my hundreds of thousands of media files, which I had no need to access via Unity at all. Now my system is FLYING like brand new. Not bad for 9AM on a Saturday morning! Happy weekend, everyone! EDIT: Also did my taxes for the first time as a homeowner this AM. It's a good day.
