One screw up and a 40 foot container of goods can be held in port by customs for weeks. Considering these are consumer electronics that are usually purchased based on strict forecasts you can assume how a dealer would react to that.

I just told her she should tell them to screw the severance and agreement and tell them she'll agree to help for the next few months but it'll cost them $50 a phone call for the first 5 minutes and an additional $50 if it goes over that.

My friend had to train guys in India as part of his severance. He literally went in for a month to train guys to take over his job at which point he'd get his severance. I hope they don't hire anybody in and get ulcers from the overwork, ****ing leaches. If you could afford it i'd say lawyer up, but thats just adding another leach to the procession.

Might as well let them have an anal gangbang on your wife while you're at it. Might give you an extra week's severance.

We've had to already deal with their Madison Avenue law firm during the acquisition. They'd grind us into human tartar and toss us into their firms piranha tank.

Isn't capitalism grand?

I would, but my country would arrest me.

Gonna ignore all this in hopes it's some sort of board malfunction.

Right?

If not, please explain.

Caught you in another thread. Was a beat to late.

Anyway, back to immoral capitalism.

Those folks asked to take a 50% pay cut? Not so fast. Talked to one of them (a bud) and he told me they are now part time.

So, 20 hours a week, increased workload, half salary, and extremely reduced benefits.

We're all hooking up Friday night at our fave pool hall and will walk out at the end of the night with a solid Fight Club solution to this problem.

Wanna know what a great guy my boss is? He asked me to fax him a copy of Lin's Severance Agreement so he can run it by his lawyer on his dime to make sure his 3 old ex-employees reply in the perfect way and don't get further screwed.
