Installed Fruity Loops on my little brother's computer today and showed him the basics.
He's sadly not into playing an instrument yet, but he seems interested in this.
All the kids in his class listen to electronic music and it would be so cool if he started making some himself.

Today's release day for my latest story. :)

Today I taught first and third grades. I edited a novel (not mine of course, one for the publisher I work for). I made apple butter.

It's a day.

Now comes the night, and that's when it gets good. My darling Sir is home!!

Finally posting this in the right thread:

Just officially failed that class I missed the last exam for. A full semester of solid grades down the toilet because of one **** up. And it's not even a class that matters. It's just some bull****, required course about using Microsoft Word and Excel and ****. Really glad I bought a ****load of beer on the way home before finding out. They will be put to good use.

The beauty of the American educational system is that you can retake a class as many times as you want as long as you pay to take it again, at least at the lower levels.

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only pick one software program to keep me warm at night, it would be Excel. It's literally one of the greatest programs of all time, not to mention that employers will value those skills, which they will if you're going into computer stuffz.

It's not so much that I failed the class, it's that I've been doing absolutely nothing for over a decade, until my grandmother paid for some community college classes that I'd been doing well in, until one **** up wasted over $700 of her money. What exactly do you say/do after that?
